Incredible provenance as it comes directly from an employee of the Reds; will include his Letter of Authenticity. Jersey is tagged Rawlings size 40 with a Set 2 1987 flag tag & a 2 extra length tag inside the tail. Exhibits great use but does have some separation of the stitching in certain areas of the numbers on both the front and back of the jerseys. This was caused by extra wear and tear when the jersey was worn by the owners son, whom the jersey was gifted to by Eric Davis & Bernie Stowe. There are also a few small, light greenish color spots that are almost invisible when the jersey is displayed(see picture of one small area above “DAVIS” on back). We believe that this jersey is the same jersey Davis is wearing during a game in 1987(photo is out of the the Reds 1988 yearbook)… The alignment of the “44” to the “DAVIS” on back is a perfect match and you will also notice the abnormality of the “DAVIS” offset towards the left of middle over the “44”.
