Mark Langston was an exceptional left-handed pitcher who won 178 games, over a 15 year career, for 5 different clubs. He was selected as an American League ALL STAR four times. Additionally, he led the American League in strikeouts on 3 occasions. This is probably the most uncommon of all Langston jerseys (except, perhaps his 1984 rookie jerseys which have never made it to the marketplace) because Langston came to Angels in 1990 (actually December of 1989) and the Angels had no jersey for him after the acquisition. Consequently, they employed a 1989 jersey which has the rare All Star patch on the right sleeve (1989 All Star game was in Anaheim) and the’BIG A’ Halo patch on the left sleeve with Langston and his number 12 on the reverse. All players are issued two uniform sets each season 2 home sets and two away sets. This jersey is in perfect condition (except for some dirt smudges) and is accompanied by the respective COA.
