Original KEITH FOULKE White Sox Game worn jersey from Aug. Played against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in Tampa. It was “Turn back the clock day” commemorating the 100th anniversary of the American league. The Sox wore dark blue 1906 uniforms and the Devil Rays wore uniforms of the 1922 St. Petersburg Saints of the Florida State League. The uniform was worn only for this game so it’s history is locked to this date in baseball. The jersey is stretch knit polyestar and is in excellent one game condition. I acquired the jersey after the game and then had it signed in person by Keith Foulke at SOX FEST in 2001. Jersey comes with a letter of authenticity from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays stating the jersey was game worn on Aug. Sox won the game in 10 innings 5-4 with Keith Foulke pitching one inning and getting the save. Foulke went on to pitch for the Boston Red Sox and help them win their first world series in over 80 years in 2004. This would be a great addition to any sport collection with a significant game used jersey tracked to a specific date in baseball history.
