The late Moe Drabowsky was born in Poland in 1935. His family fled during the rise of the Nazi regime. Moe was one of the funniest and most colorful characters in baseball history. He was a great Big League teammate for 17 seasons with the Cubs, A’s, Orioles, Braves, Cardinals, Royals, Reds and White Sox. He was a 2 time World Series champion while a member of the Baltimore Orioles. Moe was a great prankster! Teammates had to watch out when Moe was carrying his small can of lighter fluid.
