The Twins wore these jerseys only a few times and then never again, supposedly after ESPN announcers made fun of them saying they looked very much like the Dairy Queen signs behind home plate. These are exceptionally uncommon, as very few were made for retail sale, now twenty years ago. This particular example is an odd one. The Russell jock tag on the front has the small white 100% polyester flag, and the neck size tag is purposefully missing, both characteristics of a team-issued jersey. But the jock tag has a red scribble on it, which is generally done when a jersey is deemed a factory reject. My guess is that this one was rejected because it mistakenly lacks the Russell R that is supposed to be embroidered on the left sleeve. Also notably, the size tag says this is a size 46, but chest measurements show it to be a size 48. I added the TC team left sleeve patch, and then never finished customizing it.
