His collection include number of game used uniforms of Don from a variety of teams. Here is his description of these items. 1975 Game Used, Worn Don Baylor Uniform, Jersey and Pants. First year of rare Orioles pullover. “Orioles” on front, number front and back and year set swatch, all original. BAYLOR name on back and Wilson tag restored by the best in the business, Lon Lewis. Per Orioles organizational standard, both Baylor’s jersey and pants were utilized in the minors and the name was replaced after Baylor’s 1975 season/Baylor’s departure from the team the following year. As seen in the photo, the latter name is still visible under restored BAYLOR. Great, rare and hard to fine item from a grand player. Don Baylor was traded at the start of the 1976 season – along with a few other Orioles players – to the Oakland Athletics for Reggie Jackson and a few other As players. The jersey is aged but is in good condition with no obvious tears or defects. The pants have some small tears on the front left leg – halfway between the knee and ankle – and a rough patch just below the left cheek on the backside. Please see my photos. This was listed as a vintage Orioles hat/cap that is NOT game worn/used. It was made by Roman and is a size 7 5/8. It was noted that Don signed this cap for a long time bus driver who used to drive for several different teams. It is inscribed in pen on the outside bill of the cap ” To Gregg, My Best to You Always” followed by Don’s signature and uniform number “25”.
