This is a 1975 Phillies road jersey worn by Jim Lonborg. Made by Wilson with size 46 tag in the tail and strip tag reading 46 75 Set 1. There is a chain stitched tag reading “Lonborg” in the collar. The Phillies logo and the number 41 are sewn on the front and the number 41 is sewn on the back. The jersey is original except for the restored “LONBORG” nameplate on the back. The jersey shows lots of wear, and the maroon trim on the shoulders has faded. There is a round mark on the left shoulder where a patch has been removed. The jersey probably spent several seasons in the minor leagues where the patch may have been used and the original nameplate was removed, as was typical in the 1970’s.
