For your consideration is an incredibly rare throwback jersey worn by a member of the 1983 Columbus Clippers. We are unsure of the player who wore this, but it shows great game use. It is tagged as a size XL. All letters and numbers are sewn onto the jersey in dark blue twill. Made of durable Polyester, there are no rips, holes or tears. The vintage game use seen on this gem is mostly found with sweat/dirt inside the neckline and outer collar. The only real damage I’ve found is a couple of small splits at the bottom of the twill “L” on the front left breast it might be from game use, or it maybe from the jersey being folded and stored for over 35 years? The original dark blue drawstring is still present! Someone with access to game rosters throughout the season should be able to discover which player(s) wore this jersey… Someone clearly toiled long and hard in this shirt.
