Born in Sacramento, Ken Forsch studied at Oregon State University and went on to a lengthy 16 year Major League career, 11 of which were with the Houston Astros. In 1979 he pitched a no hit no run game against the Braves. His brother Bob also had pitched no hitters for the Cardinals making the Forsch brothers the only brothers in Big League history to both pitch a no hitter. The name on back has been removed. All else is completely original. The jersey is in good shape with the zipper front 100% operational with no binding or hitches. Although the Astros wore this style for 4 years they only wore the unique and rare white shoulder patch in 1972. It is also all original, like the numbers, letters and tagging.
