Harmon Killebrew Day was set for May 4. 1975 and as part of the pre-game ceremonies, Killebrew was presented with a jersey Griffith as part of his number 3 being retired by the Twins. This offered Minnesota Twins home pullover jersey was the very jersey presented to Harmon Killebrew by Twins owner Calvin Griffith for the retirement ceremony. This size 44 off-white jersey was manufactured by Wilson and features Twins and a paraph sewn on across the chest in red and navy blue tackle twill. Killebrews number 3 is sewn on the left center chest. The back of the jersey has 3 sewn on in red and navy blue tackle twill. The collar has thin navy blue, white and red striping with the sleeve ends having thicker navy blue, white and red stripes. A Minnesota Twins patch with the two TWINS shaking hands is attached to the left sleeve and a 75 Set 3 patch is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The jersey shows moderate use with what appears to be an old player number 12 that was removed. In 1975, the player that wore 12 was Eric Soderholm. Interestingly enough, Killebrew connected for a first-inning home run, his fifth of the season and 554. This jersey comes with a COA signed by the widow of Harmon Killebrew Nita Killebrew, who states that this jersey was part of her husbands personal collection.
