On the front tail is a “Property of Seattle 44 Mariners” inventory tag. New for 2016 Flexbase material. The wash tag has the care instructions and size 44 printed on it along with Made in USA. The reverse has pro fabric code 0730. The inspection stickers are no longer on the label. The white jersey has Mariners sewn on the front of the jersey in a rich royal blue framed in metallic silver and outlined in teal! The Roach name on back is sewn directly to the jersey in the same colors as the front of the jersey along with the large number 63. The MLB logo patch is in the new Chromaflex material in the upper middle of the back of jersey. Best of all, this jersey has a one game unique Ken Griffey, JR. Number Retirement patch on the left sleeve in Mariners colors Metallic Silver, Navy blue, Teal, and White. Highlighted by his swing silhouette, and, a small Seattle Mariners logo. The Mariners traditional compass logo patch is on the right sleeve. This is the jersey style worn by the Mariners on August 6th at Safeco Field, the night Griffey’s number 24 was retired by the Mariners! This jersey was likely not worn by Roach for this game as he was no longer on the game day roster when this game was played and therefore the jersey was authenticated as game issued.
