Up for grabs is a GAME WORN Cleveland Buckeyes (Indians) Negro League Turn Back The Clock Uniform. Uniform consists of Jersey and Pants worn by Fausto Carmona (now known as Roberto Hernandez). There are NO other items, such as cap, stirrups, socks etc. Listing is for one jersey and one pair of pants, as shown. Made by AIS, who used to supply Negro League TBTC (Turn Back The Clock) uniforms to MLB teams before Majestic did. Great quality and details and NO company logo appears on the jersey sleeve or exterior of the pants, as happens with Majestic uniforms. Jersey has grey body with red and navy striping and lettering/numbers. Pants are same color scheme. Cleveland script logo is tackle twill, BUCKEYES is embroidered onto the tackle twill, all of which is stitched to the jersey. #55 on the back of the jersey is tackle twill, stitched to the jersey. Velcro is in the jersey’s placket to keep the lettering aligned. Jersey size is tagged Size 54. Roomy cut to mimic the old jerseys from decades ago. See measurements in pix and compare with your required measurements to determine if the jersey will fit YOU. Pants are tagged with #55 (player number) and with Size tagging 42 (waist) 31 (inseam) 44 (Length). There is NO hologram or COA with these items. AIS does not sell these Negro League TBTC jerseys to the public. The Indians would sell these items in their clubhouse stores and during their off-season festivals. Photo #9 shows area around neck on back of jersey where there is some very slight scuffing. Very hard to see, and even tougher to photograph but I wanted to point it out. No big deal, but it IS game worn, after all. On the back of one of the pants is a stain (see last two pix with coin, to show scale and location), which looks to be pine tar or tobacco juice. There might be other slight marks to the uniform, but with a quick look-over, I found nothing but the above mentioned marks. The uniform IS game worn, and wear to the item IS to be expected.
