Michael Barrett 2000 Montreal Expos Game Worn Used Jersey WithRocket Richard 9 COA
For sale is an authentic size 48 Michael Barrett game worn 2000 Montreal Expos jersey. Across the front of the jersey is “Expos” in blue script and outlined in red. Below Expos on the left side of the front of the jersey is Michael’s number 5 also in blue and outlined in red. On the left sleeve is the red, blue and white Montreal Expos disc patch. On the right sleeve is a black “9”. When Montreal Canadiens Hockey Legend Maurice Rocket Richard died in May 2000, the Expos paid tribute to him by wearing “9” on the right sleeve. This is believed to be the first time a North American sports team wore a memorial patch for a player from another sport. On the outside back collar is the MLB insignia. Across the top of the back of the jersey is “BARRETT” in blue letters and outlined in red. Below “BARRETT” in the middle of the back of the jersey is again Michael’s number 5 in blue and outlined in red. On the outside front left tail is the sewn on Russell Athletic Diamond Collection Size 48 tag. This jersey comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity from the Florida Marlins… Yes the Florida Marlins. Loria moved the Expo’s entire front office, on field staff, office equipment and computer equipment to Florida. I have included the COA in my pictures. Michael Barrett played 13 years in Major League Baseball winning the Silver Slugger Award in 2005. In addition to the Expos, Michael played for the Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres and Toronto Blue Jays.
