In 2007, the Colorado Rockies reached their first – and only – World Series, ending their improbable run to the National League pennant where they were swept by the Boston Red Sox. Despite injuries, Aaron Cook won nine games for the Rockies and, after ten seasons with the club, retired as one of their five winningest pitchers.
