This Alamo Cream style jersey was style worn by the team on the road. The jersey dates to 1989. 1989 was the first year of full button up front. 1990 was the same style, but included the Astrodome 25th Anniversary patch. 1989 and 1990 were the only years Goodman & Sons made the button up front style This places the jersey to 1989. Further, this jersey would date to earlier in the season as it does not include the memorial arm band on the left sleeve placed on the jersey in July 1989. All letters and numbers are tackle twill and stitched on the jersey. His #33 is on the back in navy on white tackle twill. The name is in navy block letters on a matching light cream nameplate. This jersey is ALL ORIGINAL, which is very rare for this time period as many were recycled or name removed. The jersey includes the Goodman & Sons size tag in the collar. T he jersey shows moderate game use with some wash wear throughout, loose threads, and puckering of the letters and numbers.
