Montreal Expos Flannel Jersey with pants & hat (game worn)
Here’s a bunch of Expos stuff up for sale. 1 1970 Montreal Expos Uniform. Pants have no identifier on them, except for a Rawlings tag. Have definitely been worn as there are some stains and a repair on the knee. The jersey is a Rawlings flannel with the name J. Qualls stitched on below the Rawlings tag. The “8” on the front has been repositioned about an inch lower than its original location. Jersey is in very good condition with little to no wear. Jim Qualls played only 9 games for the Expos that year, although baseball reference shows him wearing #18. Note: The Expos used Rawlings for their home jerseys and Wilson for their road jerseys, so this example does not align with that (Although the game worn jersey reference guide lists both Rawlings and Wilson for road jerseys in 1970). So not sure what this is exactly… A weird game worn jersey made up for a brief call up or a salesman sample (although there are no salesman sample identifiers and not sure why Rawlings would produce a salesman’s sample if they already had the contract for the home jerseys). Cool old flannel whatever it is. 2 Mid 70’s home pants. Tagged “75 26 set 2″. But lots of different numbers written in the waist so worn my multiple players. 3 Mid 70’s game worn New Era hat. Some dirt in the back. The item “Montreal Expos Flannel Jersey with pants & hat (game worn)” is in sale since Friday, November 17, 2017.
