The jerseys were designed by owner Bill Veecks wife, Mary Frances Veeck, and were worn during Barnum Bills second ownership of the White Sox from 1976 to 1981. They have been called Veeck style jerseys, pajamas, and clam diggers among other names. These unique collared jerseys were infamously once worn with shorts. This Capital Ace blue mesh road jersey shows nice even game use / wear and will come with the original LOA. Size 42 and properly tagged. All letters and numbers are appliqued in fancy white blended twill. An all original gamer jersey from a White Sox star of that era.
