The item for sale is a circa 1950’s Benny Bengough Philadelphia Phillies coach’s game used team issued jacket. Beautiful roughly 80 year old jacket showing Phillies Logo Patch on chest and Bengough’s #11 on the inside. Also autographed on the inside tail by Phillies HOFer Richie Ashburn. Comes with the original Hunt Auctions LOA signed by David Hunt who is the President of Hunt Auctions. Rare original Phillies relic. Benny Bengough played for the 1927 Yankees and was a coach for the Phillies from 1946 – 1958. He wore #11 throughout his Phillies coaching career. This beautiful jacket has been in a private collection for the last 13 years and is coming to the open market again for the first time.

In 2007, the Colorado Rockies reached their first – and only – World Series, ending their improbable run to the National League pennant where they were swept by the Boston Red Sox. Despite injuries, Aaron Cook won nine games for the Rockies and, after ten seasons with the club, retired as one of their five winningest pitchers. This is the “cold weather” jacket worn during that run to the World Series during the frigid “Rocktober” of 2007.

Authentic Tim McAuliffe 1950’s game worn MLB New York Giants satin warm up jacket. Size 42 from player Sal Maglie “The Barber” of the World Series winning New York Giants team. Includes a letter stating this custom embroidered jacket was a gift from Sal himself. In like new condition. Inside the exterior left pocket, the size tag is present, and clearly displays the number 42. The right exterior pocket contains the Tim McAuliffe Inc tagging. The full text of the maker tag reads, Tim McAuliffe Inc, Quality Athletic Equipment, 24 Lincoln St, Boston Mass. 23 armpit to armpit chest width. 34 sleeve length from center back to cuff. Between 1950 and 1956 Maglie was among the most feared hurlers in baseball. His high hard one came in so close to batters’ heads that it seemed to shave their chins, gaining him the memorable nickname Sal the Barber. RARE authentic major league baseball team jacket. Not a wanna-be but the real vintage deal for the Seattle Mariners MLB team. This trident design logo is from the late 70’s, one of the Mariners’ very first team logo, and on an AUTHENTIC PLAYER’S JACKET!! This bad boy was right there in the Kingdome dugout with, or possibly ON the back of Mariners players like Glenn Abbott, Julio Cruz, Diego Segui, Ruppert Jones, Larry Cox, Bruce Bochte or Gaylord Perry. Quality, team issued Rawlings jacket, not a Starter, which means it’s the real deal! Heavy blue flight satin/nylon shell with warm gray quilt. This was an AUTHENTIC PLAYER’S TEAM JACKET, one that surely rubbed shoulders with some of the aforementioned big boys in the dugout! Team name big and bold across the chest in the vintage trident style. Making this one of the sharpest Major League team jackets ever. Excellent condition with no holes, tears, seam issues, rips or weird smells. EVen the snaps are still shiny! This authentic Mariners’ player’s jacket is a size 40 (LARGE). Warm and stylish in the true button-up team jacket tradition of baseball, not like the silly pull-overs and sissy lightweight’souvenir’ stuff MLB is promoting these days. The pictures tell it all! This is the one! Stored in plastic in a pet/smoke-free home in the beautiful dry climate of Eastern Washington. From pit to pit this incredible find measures 27″, from shoulder seam to tip of cuff it measures 25″ and from top of collar to the bottom snap this bad boy measures 28. (Measurements are not exact, but darn close) A ULTRA RARE collectible. Quality throughout and a great piece of baseball history!
