This jersey was originally issued to catcher Duane Josephson whose name appears on the collar. Josephson was traded on the final days of Spring Training in 1971 to the Boston Red Sox. This jersey was then issued to and worn by first baseman Tony Muser for the first half of the 1971 campaign.
