This week, I will be listing a Wonderful Collection of Sports Memorabilia and Vintage Clothing, including lots of Baseball. This is a Great, Rare, Vintage Saint Louis Browns (Baltimore Orioles) MLB baseball uniform jersey. This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Vintage design, with embroidered trim, “Talon” zipper and sewn-on Wool felt letters & numbers, is made of Wool Flannel, marked Rawlings – St. Louis, an Original, Vintage example, from the 1950’s, and is Rare to Find. The Rawlings tag is an exact match for known Game-Used Brown’s jerseys from this era, therefore I believe this to be an Authentic, Team issued, Professional, Game Model jersey. This is marked Size 42, but actually measures approx. 23″ from armpit to armpit and 28″ from top to bottom. This appears to be in Good, Crisp condition, with some mothing on the lettering and some wear from game use, including two small holes on the back.
